印度一支41人登山学校登山队昨（4）日攀爬喜马拉雅山时遇上雪崩，至今至少酿成10人死亡、11人失踪，印度官员表示，这是印度登山史上，第一次有如此大规模的登山学员在雪崩中丧命。

综合美联社、英国《卫报》（The Guardian）报导，印度国防部下辖的尼赫鲁登山学院（Nehru Institute of
Mountaineering）昨日传出一组登山学员在攀爬喜马拉雅山的过程中遇上雪崩，至今至少酿成10人死亡、11人下落不明。

学院指出，这组登山队一共有34名登山学员、7名响导，他们是在从海拔达5670公尺的朵帕缇‧旦大2号（Draupadi ka
Danda-II）山峰折返时，于当地时间4日上午8时45分遇上雪崩。

印度北阿坎德省（Uttarakhand）警察局长库玛（Ashok
Kumar）指出，登山队遇上雪崩的地点位在加瓦尔喜马拉雅山区（Garhwal
Himalaya）甘哥特利（Gangotri）山脉，当局随即派出国家灾难部队、印度空军搜索山区，至今一共救出8名生还者，不过仍有4人不幸身亡。

“印度新闻信托社”（Press Trust of India）指出，目前至少已有10人死亡，另有11人下落不明。

现任职于“国际登山与登山联合会”（International Climbing and Mountaineering
Federation）的前印度空军军官乔度里（Amit
Chowdhary）指出，“这是印度登山史上头一次发生这么大规模的登山学员在雪崩中丧生。”

目前印度军方仍持续在山区进行搜救。

印度北阿坎德省的山区经常发生雪崩，2021年当地冰河喷发导致山洪暴发，最终夺走200多条人命。
